The Mon Valley Alliance (MVA), announced that it will hold its first annual gathering on September 27th at Vinoski Winery, 333 Castle Drive in Belle Vernon.
The event runs from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and includes light refreshments and wine tastings. In addition, Vinoski will be offering tours of the winery. Tickets are $75.00 per person and can be purchased with a credit card online or by check by calling the Alliance at 724-565-5638

The Mon Valley Alliance plans to give area residents that opportunity – at least the feeling of that opportunity – by making available Mon Valleyopoly, a custom-made board game patterned after the iconic family-oriented board game with a similar-sounding name.
The game, which will be available locally for the Christmas shopping season, will allow players to purchase “deeds” to many businesses within the economic development agency’s focused area, which includes Belle Vernon, Bentleyville, Brownsville, California, Charleroi, Donora, Fallowfield, Elizabeth, Monessen, Monongahela, North Belle Vernon, Rostraver and surrounding communities.
